This section of the Handbook will explain the types of teaching personnel on our campus, as well as university policies governing instructor interactions with students inside and outside of the classroom. We have divided this section into three subsections:

• UNT Teaching Personnel: Provides an overview of the different distinctions among UNT instructors, including graduate student teachers.
• UNT Teaching Policies: Overviews the most pertinent policies regarding teaching at UNT.
• The UNT Syllabus: Overviews the requirements for a UNT syllabus, as well as tips and suggestions for maximizing the syllabus for student learning and understanding.
